The visiting Golden Isles Hammerheads from Brunswick, GA, kept it a tight match for the first half on Saturday, trailing by only 3 points at the break. However, with only a couple of substitutes having made the 4 hour trip down I-95, they wore down in the second half and fell to the home-standing Red Eyes 38-13.
The Red Eyes were led by former Brevard Youth player, Wes Haughton.
