This year’s Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids Sake will be held on Sunday, August 22 from 1-3PM and 3-5PM at Satellite Beach Lanes. The Brevard Rugby Club had several teams last year and raised about $1000. I’d like to double both teams and money raised this year - and with ruggers and friends, I think we can easily do that. I think we’ve settled on bowling in the 1-3PM session. Here are the team captains that I have so far:

7. Steve Williams - BRFC/Rockwell Collins
8. Ray Campion - BRFC/USA
9. Pedro Uriarte - BRFC (old boys/supporters/coaches?)
10. Renee Fishman - Tapps
11. Giles Malone - Cocoa Beach Pier Surfers
So, if you just want to bowl (and raise money of course) contact one of the team captains above. Or if you think you can get 4 other bowlers let me know. Captains please fill out the Captain’s Sign Up Sheet and fax it in to BBBS or e-mail it back to me.
If you bowled last year, you know how much fun it was - and it’s not about bowling - it’s about raising money for the kids - so let me know if you want to captain a team - or if you can donate money (see sponsor levels) or door prizes. And believe me…….there are a lot of really good prizes!
We’ll all bowl together and have some side bets going on scores, strikes, gutterballs, and who raises the most money.
Please let me kow ASAP if you are willing to be a team captain and recruit 4 other bowlers. I’d like us to have teams of ruggers (men’s, youth, and old boys) as well as supporters.
If you’re an alumni out of the area, let me know if you’d like to sponsor a bowler or a child for $100.
