TOUR HOTEL
We’ll be staying at the Quality Resort Hotel, 875 Hotel Circle South, San Diego Ca 92108. This puts us within 1 mile of the headquarters hotel and within walking distance of Mission Valley. Free shuttles are also provided.
GOLDEN OLDIES SCHEDULE:
Sunday May 15 - Opening Ceremony, Parade and Welcome Party Teams will march through the Historic Gaslamp Quarter (all food and drink provided)
Monday May 16- Round one of Rugby
Tuesday May 17- Free day
Wednesday May 18 - Round 2 of rugby
Thursday May 19- Free day
Friday May 20 -round 3 of rugby
Saturday Grand Finale dinner on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Midway
TOUR COSTS
We have basically depleted the account at this time. You need to start building up your account to pay the remainder of the event. The total package with tour kit (Jerseys, shirts etc.) will not exceed $1500. This gets you into all of the Festival events including three rugby games as well as 7 nights stay in the hotel.
A second deposit to Golden Oldies is due now the remainder is due in February. $150 per month starting in June will put you right on schedule. Please send checks to:

REFUNDS
If you’re worried about refunds if you have to cancel later, the policy is as follows: All funds will be refunded until August 15. After August, all money paid to Golden Oldies will not be refunded, but it can be put towards other travelers’ accounts. Theoretically, up to 50% of the group can bail and still get their money back. After February, there will be no refunds. However, if you find someone to take your place, he/she can replace you with no additional fees. The bottom line, unless everyone bails, you will get your money if you have to cancel before Feb.

Sarah Hanafourde is working on designs for the Jerseys, tee-shirts and Hawaiian and/or polo shirts. If anyone has ideas for designs, please send and I’ll forward them on.
Sharon Resta (sresta@traveleaders.com or 800.327.8867) from Traveleaders will be our Travel Agent. She will start working on airline flights in the near future.
