The 10th Annual Men Cooking From The Heart is fast approaching. As of the end of the year, there were only 50 open chef positions. The deadline for chef applications is January 12, and the deadline to submit your recipe for inclusion in the the cookbook is February 1. Hurry up and register now.
This event is a lot of fun (ask any of the ruggers who have done it in the past — there’s a lot of them) and it increases our exposure in the community (in a positive way).

The Men’s Cooking From the Heart fundraiser
http://www.mencooking.org/index.htm is coming up on Feb 21st. For those of you who are new to the team, every year the Red Eyes sign on a “Chefs” and
cook a dish that we bring to the fund raiser. We then serve the dish to the paying patrons of the event.
It’s a lot of fun and we need you to submit your application so that it can be published in the cookbook that is produced. Here’s a link to sign

We have a home game vs. Daytona on the 21st, but that shouldn’t be a problem, since last year we had an away gave at Ft. Lauderdale and still found a way to have 20 Red Eye dishes.
By the way, put the words “Red Eye” in the title of your recipe. It’s an inside joke that gets everyone at the event asking “What with all the Red Eyes?”
